Crazy 4 Cult 8: Back to L.A. by nakedDerby
Crazy 4 Cult 8: Back to L.A.
CRAZY 4 CULT RETURNS TO L.A. THIS FRIDAY AT GALLERY 1988! This Friday, December 12th sees the return of Gallery 1988's flagship annual art show, "CRAZY 4 CULT" to Los Angeles after 2 seasons in NYC. I was honored to (once again) be invited to participate in one of the most anticipated pop-culture group shows of the season.

A feature of this year's exhibition is the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Kevin Smith's "CLERKS". Being a Jersey boy myself, and a huge fan of Kevin's films, selecting a film to pay tribute to was a "no-brainer". Portraying the scene-steeling characters of "Jay and Silent Bob" as "Jersey Devils", this is a set consisting of two, 12" x 18" 3 color screen prints, signed and numbered edition of 50, sold as a set ONLY for $50.

If you're in L.A. this weekend, I highly recommend checking out the show. With over 100 artists paying tribute to their favorite "cult" films, there's bound to be something to appeal to even the snobbiest of film snobs. The opening reception takes place Friday night, 7-10pm at 7308 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. For more details:

33.3 art show at Gallery 1988 EAST Dec. 4th
A quick post about a show that I'm participating in tonight at Gallery 1988 East, 7021 Melrose Ave. "33 & 1/3" is a celebration of the art of the album cover. Being a lifelong fan of the Ramones, this project was a no brainer...

Masterbuilders Union on TEEFURY.COM, 12/4 by nakedDerby
Masterbuilders Union on TEEFURY.COM, 12/4
Hey all,
It's been a while since I've had a new original design on TEEFURY.com, but tonight at midnight and offered for 24 hours ONLY will be "Masterbuilders Union". Paying homage to the popular plastic "Building Brick" and it's recent resurgence in popularity, I wondered one day that if there were all these "Masterbuilders", shouldn't there be a union for them as well? The shirt is available in men's and women's sizes as well as kid sizes, for that little "brick builder" in your life.

Gearing up for RETRO-CON this coming weekend, September 27th and 28th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. Retro-Con celebrates the pop-culture of the 1980's such as He-man, GI Joe, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, and MORE!!! It's a great local show that's easy to get to, and easy on your wallet to get INTO! I'll be there with good pals Dave Perillo and Ian Glaubinger, so come out and say "Whoa..."*

*For you whipper-snappers, "Whoa..." is a reference to the late-80s gem, "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure".
